My short trip to a village by the sea is over and I’m back to my routine today. It feels nice and strange at the same time - on the one hand, I like to get back to my everyday schedule, but on the other hand it’s this soothing aura of the sea that I can still hear when I close my eyes and which reassures me that I’m still diving into the waves… It was a much needed holiday, after a long winter, a very stressful work program, my moving in a new place, personal issues that have been and still remain tough to handle and of course after a long, long time of waiting to spend some days in the arms of the sea. The liquid element is something that dominates my heart and makes me want to unite with it every time I have the chance to get close to the water. During these carefree days I spent by the seashore, I enjoyed swimming under the hot sun, I had meals with no rush at all in the front yard of the wonderful studio where I stayed, I stepped barefoot on the grass, I inhaled all the countryside pleasures I had missed for years… It was so peaceful and so silent that I could almost forget the human presence around and effortlessly connect with nature… As you can imagine, I could never miss the opportunity of capturing these unforgettable feelings in pictures.
